Book Trailer - TIME IS ETERNITY

Endearing characters. Emotional encounters. A story about the power of friendship and overcoming loss.

Some ties aren’t meant to be cut.

Life is good! Luca Harrison enjoys spending time with his trusted group of friends, isn’t shackled to a wife and children, and now a promotion to his dream job has rounded everything out nicely. But just when he embarks on his new endeavor, one friend is tying him in knots in more than one way. And while Luca is resisting his own feelings, he’s also wondering if maybe he got his priorities wrong.

Josephine Alberts believes in the grounding energy of the moon and in the strength of friendship. She has many dreams, and New York City is the place to achieve them. But when a series of tragedies leaves her vulnerable and broken, she must turn to the one person she doesn’t want to burden—her best friend, who left her when she needed him most. The man she wants to spend eternity with.

What will it take for Luca and Jo to bridge the distance and heal together?

Annette G. Anders is a great storyteller who knows how to portray a heartwarming friendship. Luca and Jo were just so good together. They were like an old married couple without the label. I liked that these characters brought out the importance of friendship in a good long-lasting marriage. Yes, sex is great and wonderful but it takes more to build something that lasts. It was refreshing to read a true romance without people ripping their clothes off every five minutes. The secondary characters were also great and made me want to read their stories too. Time Is Eternity is named after a poem by Henry Van Dyke. I found it profound and a great theme for Luca and Jo’s journey to love. For those looking for slow-burn clean romance, this one is for you. ‘But for those who love, time is eternity.’

I was so eager to know what happens next to this couple, and Annette G. Anders did a marvelous job in having me guess as I followed the emotions of Luca and Jo. The descriptions are beautiful, and the ability to write about human feelings and the emotions of the heart in a way that feels real to readers becomes a trademark of this novel. The themes of loss and friendship are extensively explored, and beyond the romance, readers will find poignant lessons in the human connection between Luca and Josephine. Time is Eternity is delightful, emotionally rich, and beautifully paced.

Time is Eternity is a heartwarming, beautiful story highlighting the power of friendship and exploring one woman’s journey in dealing with pain and loss. It is emotionally stirring, multilayered, and features characters that readers will stick with. The characters evolve naturally through the story, and I enjoyed the author’s ability to infuse them with humanity and put them in real and convincing situations. They are genuinely flawed, and their vulnerability is written skillfully to build the connection between the reader and the characters. Annette G. Anders has the gift of exquisite prose. She explores the characters' inner world in an engaging way, allowing readers to experience their emotions and the warmth of their humanity. The characters are solidly written, the plot intelligently executed, and the conflict finely developed.

Kudos to Annette G. Anders for writing a comforting and satisfying story once more in Time is Eternity. Annette has a flair for words. She creates characters who are realistic and incredibly fun to read. Luca is very charming, and he knows it. Jo is a special kind of person. She has dreams, aspirations and she is ready to fight for what she wants in her life. The story is realistic, which is something I adore about Annette’s stories. You will never find characters or plot points that are unrealistic and too hard to imagine. I love how Jo and Luca come together, try to find their way back into each other’s lives, and offer support. This is a partnership above all, and that is what makes this story incredible to me.
